Leadership & Community Action

Be your selfie: No BODY is perfect:
Tired of the same old selfies? Help us redefine the industry standard of beauty to include personality in addition to appearance.  We believe beauty is who you are and not what you look like.  We challenge you to take and post a new kind of selfie and a quote that shows us who YOU are.  Check out our powerful images on social media.

Leadership & Community Action – Discovery: A Leadership Program for Girls & Women
This Girls Inc. National Identity program was developed to engage girls in partnership with women leaders in their community to celebrate their heritage as leaders, develop and practice leadership and advocacy skills and construct community action projects.

Why Leadership & Community Action?
The need for female leadership awareness, practice and celebration is immeasurable for young women today. Leadership & Community Action allows girls to explore the concept of leadership and develop relationships with women in their communities who will support their exploration and share their responsibility for taking action.  This project was designed by 20 girls and 4 women leaders to make an impact on girls and women in the Greater Taunton community.

*This program is supported by The Women’s Fund of Southeastern Massachusetts.
