Meet Kerri Crowley

Kerri R. Crowley has worked as an educator in the Taunton Public School system for the last 25 years.  She currently works as an English-Second Language teacher for students grades 1-4 at Galligan Elementary school. Kerri is also a beloved a wife and mother of 3 children.

As a woman born with the BRCA gene she has inherited an increased risk for breast cancer and ovarian cancer. After cancer affected the adult women in her family, Kerri dedicated herself into being educated and proactive in cancer prevention. After undergoing a multitude of testing and procedures to fight her increased risk, Kerri was ultimately diagnosed with uterine cancer and has been fighting with grace, showing up daily for herself, her students and her family with an unmovable strength. Described as a quiet fighter, Kerri is recognized for her resilience and fortitude as a representation of a woman actively taking control of her health and increasing awareness around genetic testing for breast and ovarian cancer screening.
